The sign outside Twin Smokers says they sell until they run out. If you think that’s a gimmick, sit at the counter after 5 p.m. and watch grownups tear up when they learn the pulled pork just sold out.
Twin Smokers offers quite possibly the best BBQ ever. And the collards! So good. A dry rub aficionado need not fear what looks like a light sauce lazing on the ribs. Even the snobbiest sauce-loather quickly discovers this is the stuff that floats heaven up there in the sky. Treat yourself to a Whistle Pig on the rocks and a half order of St. Louis ribs, and don’t forget to pair generous squirts of the thin, precisely hot “Spicy Sauce” on each rich bite you take.
Stacks of post oak, mesquite hickory, and white oak appropriately serve as wall decoration. If you haven’t tried the collards and St. Louis ribs at Twin Smokers, you haven’t eaten barbecue yet.
